Winn-Dixie is recalling select cut fruit because of a mango that could have salmonella

TAMPA, Florida - Winn-Dixie is recalling select cut fruit in 31 counties because of a mango that could have salmonella.

The items are made by Renaissance Food Group and include Garden-Highway Tropical Salsa, Fruit Burst, and Island Medley varieties sold under the Winn-Dixie name. The recall is associated with Daniella Brand Mangoes distributed by Splendid Products.

The store asks customers to stop eating the fruit and return it to the store for a full refund.

The recalled products will have a plant number of P-009 on the product label that will be located to the left of the UPC.

Bay area counties in the recall include Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando, Manatee, Pasco, and Polk.
