John's Pass, Florida -- Six people have been rescued after their 24-foot boat began taking on water about six miles off John's Pass.
The U.S. Coast Guard, FWC and other rescue crews all responded to save the boaters. When they arrived, all the boaters were in the water, including two who were clinging to the side of the boat.
All were safely returned to shore. One person had to be treated for diesel fuel exposure, and another person for jellyfish stings.
