A cold front that has brought  the first taste of fall across much of the eastern US is struggling to push all of the way through Tampa.  It is moving very slowly over the area today resulting in more clouds and showers.  The front will eventually move just south of the area tomorrow before washing out in south Florida.  The position of the front to our south will allow for just a small push of dry air and some breezy NE winds to take over late Tuesday into Wednesday.  Although the air will be a touch drier, the NE winds will be warm winds for us resulting in highs near 90.

The middle of the week will be mainly dry with only a 30% chance for a shower by the weekend.

Today: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and storms.  Winds WNW 10 mph with highs in the upper 80s.  The best chance for rain will be Tampa southward.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with a 20% chance for rain.  Winds NE 5 mph with lows in the mid 70s.

Marine Forecast: W 10 kts, 2-3'.  Water temperature 84.
