Overnight Thunderstorms Possible and More Likely By Midday Wednesday

Scattered thunderstorms could wake you up in the middle of the night as models indicate some storms moving across the 10 News viewing area between 1am - 4am. Look for lightning and thunder as well as some brief heavy rainfall and gusty winds.

More rain will continue through the next few days as a front moves south across the Sunshine State and then washes out. The front will stall across central Florida and will channel moisture into the Bay Area resulting in numerous showers and storms for the next several days. This stalled front will likely lead to an earlier "trigger" to storms resulting in some of us seeing scattered thunderstorms more in the midday hours (11am - 6pm) rather than waiting until the end of the day.

Look for high temperatures between 85 - 90 degrees on Wednesday.
