St. Petersburg, Florida -- Fans who attend any of the final six games at Tropicana Field will have the chance to win a variety of prizes during the team's latest fundraising effort.
An estimated 300 volunteers will be on hand, wearing blue "Shirts Off Our Backs" T-shirts during the fundraiser at the Trop. All fans who donate will receive scratch-off cards with the opportunity to win prizes totaling more than $250,000 in value. Included in the prizes are 2013 Rays game tickets, Rays game-worn jerseys and more.
Proceeds will benefit both the Rays Baseball Foundation and the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association's Educational Foundation (FRLAEF).
Prizes donated by: Anna Maria Oyster Bar, Bella's Italian Café, Bob Evans, Broken Egg Restaurant, Centerplate, Daiquiri Shak, Days Inn Port Charlotte, Ferg's Sports Bar & Grill, Gecko's Pub & Grill, Little Greek, Miller's Ale House, Tampa Bay Rays and Universal / CityWalk in Orlando Fla.
The final six games will take place Sept. 21-23 against the Toronto Blue Jays and Oct. 1-3 against the Baltimore Orioles.
