Forecast: A Few Storms Possible Overnight

A weak frontal boundary stalled across south central Florida will continue to usher in mid and high level clouds overnight and Thursday.  With a trough remaining to our west...we will see scattered showers and maybe an isolated storm across the region moving from southwest to northeast.  The Nature Coast should see a little more sunshine on Thursday where the air will be a bit drier. 

 

 

Overnight Isolated showers, with a few thunderstorms possible early.  Mostly cloudy, with a low around 74. West northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Thursday A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 3pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 88. Light south southwest wind. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Friday A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 3pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 89. East northeast wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the afternoon. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Saturday Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 3pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. East wind 3 to 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Sunday Isolated showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. Calm wind becoming north northeast around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Monday Isolated showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 89. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tuesday Isolated showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 91. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
