Bradenton, FL-- Manatee High School's Trevon Walters is our Southern Ford Dealers Player of the Week.

A junior running back, Trevon accounted for 227 yards of total offense in the Hurricanes' big win over Miami Central.  Trevon rushed for 107 yards, caught 8 passes for 120 yards, and scored a pair of touchdowns.

His attitude is the kind that coaches love.

"I can do better," Trevon told 10 News. "Like, I had over 100 rushing yards and everybody is saying, 'Mike Blakely did this, Mike Blakely did that.' I kind of want to do something like that, but even better."

Mike Blakely was an outstanding back at Manatee, who is now playing at Auburn.

Manatee is on a bye this week, but plays arch-rival Bradenton Southeast next week.
