Models Showing Scattered Thunderstorms Between 9pm - 2am
Mostly cloudy skies expected early this evening and it will be quite humid too as temps hold in the low 80's.
We are watching a large batch of scattered thunderstorms in the Gulf that are moving northeast and trying to come onshore and over us soon. If they do indeed hold together and don't break up, our models are showing that we would see these storms between 9pm - 2am over the Bay Area. Look for frequent lightning and thunder, brief heavy rainfall, and even some strong wind gusts between 35 - 45mph in and around these storms.
On Thursday and Friday we are expecting partly sunny skies, with a 40% chance of showers and storms, primarily in the afternoon. High temperatures will be around 90 degrees as the wind turn to the Northeast around 5 - 12mph.
