Tampa, FL (Sports Network) - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed defensive end Jeff Charleston on Wednesday.
The 29-year-old Charleston has registered 87 tackles and eight sacks in 65 career games with Indianapolis and New Orleans. He was a member of the Saints team that won Super Bowl XLIV.
Charleston's signing comes two days after the Buccaneers placed defensive end Adrian Clayborn on injured reserve with a knee injury.
