After losing a nail-biter to Armwood last week, Sickles knew it would have to get back on track against Hillsborough if they want a shot at reaching the playoffs.
In the first quarter Hillsborough struck first blood on a 20 yard run right up the gut by Nigel Harris to make 8-0.
But the Gryphons fire right back with a 44 yard hook-up between QB Nate Mills and Bilal Salat to pull within two.
In the second, Ray-Ray McCloud plunged in from one yard out to for another Sickles touchdown. And just seconds before the half, Dwayne Lawson scored on a 20 yard Q-B keeper to make it 14-16.
In the third quarter Nigel Harris helped Hillsborough increase their lead with a 3 yard touchdown.
But Sickles came right back with another score from Ray-Ray McCloud to take a one point lead, as they held on to take a 23-22 victory over Hillsborough.
