Today warm & humid but not for long

Winds drop today as high pressure moves away and allows for a cold front to move into Florida's panhandle today.  In advance of the front, temperatures will near 90 with a NE to NW wind.  Not much rain is expected except for showers over Sarasota, and Highlands counties. 

Tonight a front moves in bringing sunshine and cooler mid 80s and less humid air for Tuesday.  High clouds return Wednesday with isolated showers south of Tampa Bay. Most of the week will be on the dry side.

Tonight Partly cloudy, with a low around 69. Northwest wind 5 to 7 mph.

Tuesday Mostly sunny, with a high near 86. North wind 7 to 10 mph.

Tuesday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 64. Northeast wind 3 to 6 mph.

Wednesday Isolated showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. Northeast wind around 6 mph becoming south in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
