St. Petersburg, Florida -- As trappers continue in their quest to catch a monkey that's been on the loose for several years, the rhesus macaque is once again drawing a national spotlight onto the Tampa Bay area.

On Comedy Central's The Colbert Report Monday night, Stephen Colbert suggested the media made light of the situation by calling the animal a "mystery monkey."
After the 3-foot, 40 pound monkey jumped and clawed a St. Petersburg grandmother's back, Colbert suggested a new nickname: Simian Psycho.
