Zephyrhills, Florida -- Pasco County Sheriff's deputies have arrested the man they identified Thursday morning as the person wanted in connection with the robbery of two area banks.
Detectives say 47-year-old Thomas Rhoden is suspected in the Oct. 10 robbery of the Sunshine State Federal Credit Union where he left behind a suspicious package and in Wednesday, Oct. 17's robbery of the Bank of America in Hudson.
Rhoden's truck was found around 4:15 p.m. today at a Hess gas station near a Travel Inn in New Port Richey. Detectives found him at the Inn during a search of nearby hotels and he was taken into custody without incident.
