Forecast Warm & breezy Sandy south of Tampa

Dry air is starting to become more humid but it will still remain mostly dry around the Bay Area.  Isolated showers are possible well east and south of Tampa the next few days. 

 The winds stay up as high pressure north of us combines with Tropical Storm Sandy south of Jamaica.  Sandy will pass near or over Jamaica Wednesday and Cuba Wednesday night and could grow to a hurricane.  On its current path it should enhance  dry and cooler weather locally starting Friday and lasting through the weekend. The path will take it over the central Bahamas Friday.  Tropical rains could affect South Florida Starting late Thursday.

Wednesday Isolated showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 88. East northeast wind 8 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Thursday Isolated showers after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 85. East northeast wind 8 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
