Army Spc. Brittany Gordon of St. Petersburg, died Oct. 13, in Kandahar, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked her unit with an improvised explosive device.
She was assigned to the 572 Military Intelligence Company, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.
Spc. Gordon's remains arrived at MacDill AFB Wednesday morning and the honor escort left the base at around 12:00 p.m. Below is the updated route. Please come out along the route and show your support!
