Sarasota, Florida -- A new flight is now departing which may come in handy while you're booking your travel this holiday season.
United Airlines now has service from Sarasota to Chicago's O'Hare after a 17-year absence from Sarasota-Bradenton International. The carrier is offering one daily round-trip flight.
If the new service proves to be a success, more options may be added. Congressman Vern Buchanan took part in today's ribbon cutting.
