HARRISBURG, Pa. - A school bus driver in the Harrisburg
suburbs is facing charges after police say he brought a toy gun along
for the ride.
Susquehanna Township Police said Tuesday a student
from Dauphin County Technical School alerted officials on Monday that
driver Ronald Jones told them the toy gun was for the bad kids.
Police say they had the bus stopped and were able to recover a miniature toy machine gun. Another driver finished the route.
The 73-year-old Jones is accused of disorderly conduct.
Police say the children were never in danger.
A
message left at a listing for Jones wasn't immediately returned, but he
told The Patriot-News of Harrisburg that he used poor judgment.
