LEE CO., Florida -- Southbound I-75 was shut down until 9:45 a.m. Sunday morning.
The Florida Highway Patrol was informed of an initial traffic crash on southbound I-75 at mile marker #126 at 2:16 a.m. Troopers say there has been a total of five separate crashes involving six vehicles (total of six drivers and nine passengers).
Eight people have been injured. Two separate drivers have been arrested for DUI.
