Tampa, FL-- Bucs' WR Vincent Jackson has been selected to the Pro Bowl. He replaces Detroit Lions' WR Calvin Johnson.
Jackson finished the season, his first with the Bucs, with 72 catches for 1,384 yards and 8 touchdowns. He led the NFL with a 19.2 yards per catch average. Jackson racked up a franchise-record 216 yards in Week 7 against New Orleans. The 1.384 yards receiving is second in Bucs' history, next to Mark Carrier's 1,422 yards in 1989.
This is Jackson's third career Pro Bowl selection.
