Provo, UT (Sports Network) - Cole Dickerson recorded a double-double with 14
points and 11 rebounds as the San Francisco Dons defeated the BYU Cougars,
99-87, in West Coast Conference action at the Marriott Center.
De'End Parker scored a game-high 23 points in the Dons' (11-13, 4-7 WCC)
victory. Cody Doolin was two-assists shy of a double-double with 16 points.
Chris Adams and Avry Holmes contributed 17 points apiece as San Francisco won
its second straight game.
For the Cougars (18-8, 8-4), Brandon Davies was one board shy of a double-
double with 13 points. Brock Zylstra netted a team-high 18 points. Tyler
Haws contributed 16 points, four rebounds, and four assists. Craig Cusick
added 12 points and Matt Carlino chipped in 10 as BYU lost for the second
straight game.
BYU shot 17-of-35 from the floor and a perfect 12-of-12 from the foul line en
route to a 48-39 advantage at the break.
San Francisco came out firing in the second half, knocking down 72 percent
from the floor, including 9-of-10 from beyond the arc. The Dons held BYU to
only 35.5 percent shooting after intermission as they pulled ahead down the
stretch.
The Dons' bench dominated the Cougars' reserves, 49-24. San Francisco made 14-
of-23 from beyond the arc while limiting BYU to a mere 6-of-19 from 3-point
range.
