Pinellas Park, Florida -- Pinellas Park Police say a special needs school bus was involved in a crash with a car while en route to Nina Harris School Monday morning.
The accident occurred around 9:40 this morning at the intersection of 49th Street and 70th Avenue North.
Police say there were about a dozen children on board but none of them were injured. The driver of the bus was taken to Northside Hospital by ambulance for minor, non-life threatening injuries.
The students were transferred to another bus and taken to school.
The details on how the accident occurred have not yet been released at this time.
