Tampa, FL -- If you are looking for an easy and inexpensive way to keep opened bags of food fresh, the Eurosealer might be the answer.  

Try It Before You Buy It team member Yvonne Bradley-Reid gave it a try to see if it worked as promised.

The Eurosealer uses a small heating element built into the handheld device that's supposed to create an airtight seal as you slide it across the opening of the bag.  Yvonne used it on a half dozen different chip bags, and most of the time it worked.  She found the Eurosealer worked better with some types of bags than others and that it took some practice to seal the bag just right.  Overall Yvonne liked the Eurosealer and gave it a thumbs up.
