Bradenton, Florida -- A 22-year-old man was killed early Thursday morning when he drove his van into a storage building.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers say Matthew Daley was heading south on 14th Street West in a 2001 Nissan Quest when, for an unknown reason, he drifted across the center median and into the opposite shoulder near the intersection of 36th Avenue West.
Once he got into the shoulder he slammed into a storage building in the 3600 block of 14th Street West. Daley was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators are waiting on toxicology results to see if alcohol or drugs was a factor in the crash.
