Deputies say on June 7, around 4:04 p.m., a man parked a gold van in the Target parking lot just south of the business. He then walked across Carrollwood Springs Boulevard and entered the BB&T Bank located at 15312 Dale Mabry Hwy N.
He stood in line for a few moments waiting for the next available teller and then handed the teller a note demanding money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, he calmly exited the bank and got into his van and fled south through the Target parking lot, then south on Dale Mabry Highway.
The man is described as a white male, 30-40 years, 5'8" - 6', 150 lbs, with a medium build, short black hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with blue writing on the front, tan baseball hat, blue pants, dark shoes, white painter's mask, black gloves and black sunglasses.
The van he was seen fleeing the scene in is described as a gold 1996-2000 Dodge Caravan with no tint on the two front windows, missing front two hubcaps and black molding on driver's door missing.
The sheriff's office says the clothing and physical description match that of a man wanted in connection with another bank robbery that occurred on May 31 at TD Bank located at 9400 4th Street North in St. Petersburg.
