Tuesday Evening: Dangerous Heat continues all evening with Heat Index values over 100 degrees through 10pm. Temps slowly falling from the mid 90's, and still in the upper 80's through 11pm. Models do show a couple of isolated storms popping up around Tampa, and Polk County between 7pm-10pm, and falling apart by 12am.
Wednesday: Sunny skies for the morning, with a low temperature around 79 degrees. Brief isolated showers possible around the Bay and the Coast between 5am-9am. Partly Cloudy and one last really hot day before we change to a wet pattern starting Thursday. High temperatures are forecasted around 91-95 degrees in the Metro Tampa area.
We will increase our rain/storm coverage Wednesday to around 40% of the area. Bay Area & Coastal regions are forecasted to see some scattered thunderstorms between 1pm-7pm. Early evening scattered thunderstorms shift a little east to along & east of I-75 between 5pm-11pm.
Thursday - Saturday: Very stormy and wet pattern setting up with numerous rounds of showers & storms. Coverage Friday/Saturday will be around the 70%-80% range.
