Strong Thunderstorms developing around Tampa, Eastern Hillsborough, Polk , Hardee, and Desoto Counties through 10 p.m., Tuesday, Auguat 13, 2013.
Wednesday: Sunny skies for the morning, with a low temperature around 79 degrees. Brief isolated showers possible around the Bay and the Coast between 5am-9am. Partly Cloudy and one last really hot day before we change to a wet pattern starting Thursday. High temperatures are forecasted around 91-95 degrees in the Metro Tampa area.
We will increase our rain/storm coverage Wednesday to around 40% of the area. Bay Area & Coastal regions are forecasted to see some scattered thunderstorms between 1pm-7pm. Early evening scattered thunderstorms shift a little east to along & east of I-75 between 5pm-11pm.
Thursday - Saturday: Very stormy and wet pattern setting up with numerous rounds of showers & storms. Coverage Thursday/Friday will be around the 60%-70% range, and still looking at around 40% coverage for Saturday/Sunday with daytime highs in the low 90's.
