Largo, Florida-- A forensic investigation is underway in Largo after a lawn maintenance worker found a person's body who appeared to have been dead for an extended period of time.
According to a Largo Police report, it was around 10 a.m. Tuesday morning when the worker found the body inside a home on Alexander Way.
The report says the body, "appeared to be deceased for sometime"- long enough to prevent investigators from initially determining the cause of death.
Police officials have since said it's possible the body was there for over a year.
Largo PD detectives and forensic teams continue their investigation, but say that so far, there is no indication of foul play.
An autopsy will officially determine the cause of death.
