Tampa, FL - Back in March mass transit had a mass appeal in Hillsborough county and commissioners voted to make it a top priority. Light rail was was back on the table, and this was two years after Hillsborough County voters said "no."
But now Commissioner Mark Sharpe seems to suggest a shift in emphasis to more buses, according to the Tampa Tribune. The commissioner stated that he wants county leaders to focus on this option because it doesn't need a lot of study and it can be put in place fairly quickly.
