CLEARWATER, Florida - Police say a man and woman used a boy around 10 years old to help them in thefts at Ron Jon Surf Shop and Hooters restaurant in Clearwater.
The trio was captured on video Sunday evening stowing the items in a baby stroller.
According to officers, the man and woman hit the surf shop earlier in the evening. Then, they went to Hooters, where the boy was seen on surveillance video taking purses from a back room and putting them in the stroller.
On Sunday night, a debit card from one of the stolen purses was used at Target in Clearwater Mall.
The adult man is believed to be about 30 to 35 years old. He is about 5'10" and weighs about 190 pounds and has a shaved head. He was last seen wearing gray shorts and a black Ron Jon t-shirt that he also stole from the store.
The woman is also about 30 to 35 years old as well. She is about 5'7" inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds. She has brown hair and was last seen wearing a bright green shirt and gray or brown capris.
The young boy is estimated to be about 10 years old. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and gray shorts.
