According to reports, a rolling boil for one minute is sufficient. In addition,
icemakers should be turned off and any ice made within the last 12 hours should
be discarded and the ice tray cleaned.
This precautionary notice will remain in effect until normal water service
is restored and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe for
drinking and cooking.
Pasco County Utilities will rescind the notice after receiving satisfactory
