Hernando County, Florida -- Three men have been arrested for a multiple vehicle burglaries in the Spring Hill area.
and acts of criminal mischief. Each is being held on an $86,000 bond. According to Detectives, there are more charges pending.
Between July 13 and August 27 approximately 57 vehicle burglaries and acts of criminal mischief occurred throughout the Spring Hill area. Vehicle windows were smashed, items of value were stolen, and in some cases, vehicle tires were punctured.
On August 28, a deputy was on patrol when he noticed a suspicious vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.
When the deputy made contact with the three men in the vehicle he noticed several baseball bats including one with shards of glass on it. A waiver was signed to search the vehicle and property belonging to several victims was located.
Post Miranda, Thomas Neve, Manuel Casanova, and Angel Casanova all admitted to committing the criminal mischief activity and vehicle burglaries together. Some of the offenses were committed as acts of retaliation.
