Wimauma, Florida -- A man found his two missing horses after they were stolen and traded for an ATV.
On August 27, Jose Moreno-Sanchez reported to deputies that his pasture fence was cut and two of his horses were stolen. Moreno-Sanchez was able to track one of his horses to a home where two teenage suspects had tried to sell it for $800.
The man who now had the horse told investigators that the teens first tried selling him the animal, but instead he offered to trade an ATV for it. After the suspects brought back a signed receipt that said theyhad permission to sell the horse, the trade was made.
Both horses were returned to Moreno-Sanchez and the teens were charged with grand theft, dealing in stolen property, and burglary.
