Tarpon Springs, Florida -- A new PBS documentary will chronicle the Tarpon Springs High School Marching Band's upcoming trip to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
WLRN-TV, the PBS station in Miami, is producing the documentary, titled "Journey to the Macy's Thanksgiving Parde." It will show everything from band rehearsals and fundraising to the final performance at the parade on November 28th.

"The Macy's parade is a completely different event," said band director Kevin Ford. "It's an iconic event for our country. It's an opportunity to represent our state, our community and our school system."
WLRN-TV producer Mia Laurenzo said the students' talents and professionalism impressed her.
"My jaw dropped and the hair raised on my arms," said Laurenzo, remembering a recent concert.
"Journey to the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade" will likely air nationally on PBS stations.
