Tampa, Florida -- A drug tip reported to Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay lead to the arrest of four people for an indoor marijuana grow operation.
On August 29, detectives executed a search warrant on a home on Hollowell Drive. The investigation revealed that the residence was used to house guns and a indoor marijuana grow operation.
According to reports, a search of the residence revealed two closets converted for the sole purpose of cultivating marijuana. A total of eleven marijuana plants were recovered which weighed 19.75 pounds along with a small amount of powder cocaine. Detectives also located a Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun and a Tauras 9mm semi-automatic handgun.
Four subjects were taken into custody. The marijuana has a street value of $20,000.
