St. Petersburg, Florida -- Have an iPhone or iPad? You'll soon be able to download Apple's new iOS 7.
It comes with cool new tools, plus a potential for drama.
The sleek new look of Apple's new iOS version 7. So smooth and shiny! But there are a bunch of new features here, too.
The redone camera app has built-in filters and fresh options.
"It's going to be a flip-up, and you'll have access to all of your major controls, some of your favorite apps, and be able to do it right there off the home screen," said Chris Rokosz, the Pocket Producer.
Rokosz teaches people to create professional videos with iPhones, through Rokosz Studios in Largo.
"One of the neatest aesthetic things is, you set your home or lock screen photo -- the entire operating system will meld to that color scheme so it feels seamless," Rokosz said.
One new addition could create drama.
AirDrop is a new, easy way to share pictures and more from one nearby Apple device to another.
But -- unless you turn off AirDrop entirely or restrict it to just people on your contact list -- anybody nearby can offer to send you stuff.
Imagine strangers firing photos at you, or stores sending you ads the moment you walk in.
Rokosz says, one way or another, that ad bombardment is just an unavoidable feature of our future.
"You'll be walking down Main Street... and you didn't even look at the name of the shop, but the shop is already going, 'Hey, come in here, we've got a sale on this!'" Rokosz said.
"It's going to be virtual cries. 'Step right up! Come get your stuff! We've got a sale!' Except it's directly on your phone."
One tip: Wait a few days or even weeks to download the new, updated software, especially on older devices.
That way Apple can work out any bugs that show up and by the time you download it, those problems should be all patched up.
