Polk County, Florida -- Detectives are asking for the public's help in the attempted murder of involving a shooter and his grandmother.
Reportedly, on September 21, a shooting occurred in the area of Edwin Street in Winter Haven and Kelvin Key-Herrington was identified as the shooter. The victim was transported to a local hospital and was treated for an injury to the hand.
Herrington's grandmother, Deborah Thompson, approached a witness after the incident and threatened the witness if her grandson was identified as the shooter.
There are active warrants for the arrests of both Key-Herrington and Thompson.
