Clearwater, Florida - Volunteers are being sought to help with the 34th Clearwater Jazz Holiday at Coachman Park Oct. 17th-20th.
The volunteers will help with ticket sales, selling merchandise, serving beer, wine, soft drinks and water. Skilled volunteers are also needed for carpentry, electrical and plumbing, and well as help building and tearing down event infrastructure.
"Everything that comprises the Clearwater Jazz Holiday is accomplished by volunteers and would not function without their help and support," organizers stated. "The Jazz Force spends each year organizing and planning, but it's only part of the equation that makes Clearwater Jazz Holiday a success. Volunteers are an integral part of the event and are needed to help staff especially on Sunday."
In all, the event will need more than 1,200 volunteers to make the four day event a success.
Volunteers will receive a 2013 Commemorative Pin, t-shirt, admission and the 2013 Clearwater Jazz Holiday Poster. Pipo's The Original Cuban Cafe will be providing volunteers with food and a beverage either before or after their volunteer shift.
Volunteers can sign up sign up online and click on Volunteers; or call the Jazz Holiday office for more information at 727-461-5200.
