St. Petersburg, Florida -- Eight experts from the Urban Land Institute have been working to develop a Downtown Waterfront Master Plan and they will present their findings on Friday, October 4.
At 8:30 a.m. in Friday morning, the panel will present their findings at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort's Grand Ballroom. The public is invited, and the meeting will also be aired later on the St. Pete TV, and posted on the city's Web and YouTube Channels.
The Urban Land Institute has been gathering input from the residents and business owners in the area from September 29 to October 4. Input gathered has helped the panel in developing its recommendations.
Locally, the ULI has been involved in ongoing planning efforts in downtown Tampa and the Hillsborough River, Pasco County, Bradenton, Manatee County and Longboat Key.
After the ULI panel presents its findings on October 4, it will submit a printed report within 90 days. The city will complete the Downtown Waterfront Master Plan process by July 1, 2015.
