Mourners lit candles on the sidewalk in front of her home that spelled out RIP BA - meaning "Rest In Peace Brianna Anderson."
As loved ones spoke to the crowds, the cries of sadness could be heard throughout as they came to grips with the 22 year-old's death.
"She was a fun person to be around... always kept you laughing... life of the party...loud, center of attention," said Gelicia Forte, a childhood friend.
Police believe that around 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Jamar Silas shot Anderson in the head inside her apartment and left.
Silas was caught by the Tampa Police officers several hours later following a brief chase. He was charged with felony possession of a firearm while investigators build their case.
Family members say that her unborn child, which was delivered via emergency at Tampa General Hospital before Anderson passed away, will be named Brianna.
