A pre-frontal trough moving across the Gulf will bring rain to the area overnight through Wednesday afternoon with a few thunderstorms possible. Rain totals should be a quarter inch or less with a bit higher amounts near the Nature Coast. Rain will be most likely between 6AM - 3PM across the Bay area.
The front will clear the area by Wednesday night bringing drier and cooler weather. Northerly winds will usher in a cooler airmass resulting in high temps near 60 degrees on Thursday. Friday morning will be chilly with a low of 45 degrees.
The weekend will be warm. Sunday afternoon will be cloudier with showers late in the day. The pattern will be wetter and cloudy early next week as a front becomes stationary in central Florida and disturbances cross the area from the Gulf.
