(CNN) -- A jailed Florida teenage girl is talking about her case and the plea deal she accepted for having a same sex affair with a minor.
Kaitlyn Hunt was first arrested after word got out that she was having sex with a 14-year-old girl at Sebastian River High School on Florida's east coast.
She was a senior and 18 years old at the time, so prosecutors said they had to press charges under Florida law.
Hunt has been in jail since August 20 for violating a court order not to contact the alleged victim.
She says she felt like she was set up.
"I do regret it, because I trusted her as not only my friend, but my girlfriend too. I felt I got set-up in multiple ways and I got hurt by her," Hunt tells CNN.
Hunt adds, "I care about her as a person, but I don't love her the way I did before."
Hunt gets out of jail on December 20. She'll serve three years of probation, including two years under house arrest. Under the terms of her plea agreement, she is to have no contact with the 14-year-old, and will not have to register as a sex offender.
