Polk County sheriff's detectives are looking for a person of interest in the homicide of Davonte Lewis.
Lewis was killed on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2013, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
Detectives are now looking for 35-year-old Taurus Moye. He has a warrant for his arrest for possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and he is wanted for questioning in Lewis' death.
Moye is described as a black male, 6' tall, 218 lbs. He has tattoos: On his back "Stromb" and "It Was Written"; on his left arm "Krazy" "TM" WPG"; on his right arm: bars, "Cry No More," and "He Has Gold Teeth."
Authorities say Moye was just released from prison in May 2013 after serving a 10-year sentence for attempted second degree murder and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
Moye has an extensive criminal history and he is considered armed and dangerous.
