Brandon, Florida -- A police officer and his K-9 partner caught a 15-year-old boy stealing from the Brandon High School concession stand.
The burglary occurred on Sunday, October 13, just before 10:30 p.m. Deputy Brain Davis and his K9 partner Teton responded to a burglar alarm coming from the Brandon High School sports concession stand located at 1101 Victoria Street.
After searching around the area Deputy Davis discovered a bike and backpack hidden underneath a school bus near the concession stand. Then, Deputy Davis and his K-9 went to the far west side of the parking lot and hid.
In just a short time, the suspect came back for his bicycle under the bus and attempted to flee. Deputy Davis told the suspect to stop or the K-9 would be released.
The suspect stopped and it was reveled that he was a student at Brandon High School and stole 11 packs of M&M candy from the concession stand.
The suspect was booked into the Hillsborough County Juvenile Assessment Center.
