Tampa, Florida -- It took almost 50 firefighters to put out a fire, Thursday, at the Family Super Store located on North 22nd Street.
Tampa Fire Rescue Crews were called out to the fire around 1:18 a.m. on October 17, where they found heavy smoke coming from the doors and the roof of the convenience store.
Firefighters force their way through the building and due to the intensity of the blaze fire crews called for a second alarm as they began to make an attack on the fire.
Once inside, crews encountered very hot temperatures and found the fire to be deep-seated towards the rear of the structure. Crews battled the blaze for 30 minutes before declaring it under control.
The Family Super Store, located at 3623 North 22nd Street, sustained significant damages. Tampa Fire Marshal investigators and detectives have ruled the fire as an arson. According to reports, suspects burglarized the business and then set it on fire in an attempt to conceal the burglary
