Tampa, Florida -- A Clearwater man has been charged with the DUI death of a woman riding in a car he crashed into Wednesday night in Tampa.
Tampa Police say Timothy Wysocki ran a red light at the intersection of Meridian Avenue North and Twiggs Street East and slammed his Mercedes-Benz into Daniel Galloway's Toyota Corolla killing 64-year-old Bernadine Smith of Tampa.
Police say Wysocki, 25, exhibited clues of being under the influence of alcohol at the scene. He was taken to Tampa General Hospital where he was forced to give blood for analysis. He was then arrested and taken to jail and charged with DUI manslaughter.
Whether Galloway, 58, received any injuries in the crash is not known at this time.
