Osceola County Sheriff's deputies need the public's help in locating a 13-year old boy who was reported missing by his parents on Oct. 18.
Authorities say Matthew Vasquez was last seen at his home on Owenshire Circle in Poinciana.
On Oct. 17 around 10:00 p.m., Matthew had an argument with his mother. When she went to check on him at 11:30 p.m. he was not at the residence.
Matthew suffers from ADHD and has severe asthma. His family indicated it does not appear he took his inhaler with him.
Matthew is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5'2" and 100 lbs. It is unknown what clothing he was wearing when he left the residence. Detectives do not have reason to believe the incident is suspicious, but due to Matthew's age they are requesting the public's assistance to check on his well being.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Matthew is asked to call the Osceola County Sheriff's Office at (407) 348-2222 or Crimeline at (800) 423-TIPS (8477). Calls made to Crimeline remain anonymous and, tips that lead to the felony arrest of suspects and/or the recovery of stolen property and drugs are eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000 dollars.
