St. Petersburg, FL - For several years now political polls have helped give voters an idea as to who are the front-runners are. Just in the last primary election more that 20 polls were conducted.
But change is coming with the new FCC rules. These changes have to do with polls that are conducted by calling cell phones.
According to the Tampa Tribune, the new regulations are intended to curb telemarketers pestering cell phone users, but they also likely will have a chilling effect on polling companies that use automated calling systems, including StPetePolls, which conducted 18 surveys during the primary campaign.
