Pinellas Park, Florida -- A shooting, a chase with deputies, and then a crash cut power to hundreds of homes overnight.
The getaway car flew off the road, down into a ditch, and smashed into a power pole on 62nd St. near 46th St.
Duke Energy said at one point late Monday, 1,011 customers near that area had their electricity knocked out.
Deputies are still trying to catch the last of three suspects who were in a Mercedes SUV that took off when deputies tried to pull it over.
Deputies say it hit 100 mph as it raced east along 62nd St., trying to get away.
Why were deputies trying to pull over the SUV?
They say the three people inside took off in the vehicle after shooting a man in front of a house on a neighborhood street in Seminole, just off Starkey Road.
When the cops spotted them, the three tried to get away, and eventually crashed.
Two of the three were hurt in the crash and are now at the hospital.
A third suspect took off running and is still on the loose.
Deputies say the man who was shot in Seminole is being treated at the hospital and is expected to survive.
