St. Petersburg, FL - USF will look to mirror the Florida Good Samaritan Act when it comes to it's drug policy. This new addition will give students some protections from punishment.
One example, by the Tampa Bay Times, states that if a party goer stops breathing or passes out and someone calls 911, both the caller and the victim might be exempt from sanctions.
USF's Dean for Students has sent an email explaining this new policy to students and is hoping that they pay attention to it.
