U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor and Tampa International Airport CEO Joe Lopano talk about the airport's 11th weekly flight to Cuba and its success.
Tampa, Florida -- Another big money-making flight is coming to Tampa -- it'll go to Havana.
On Tuesday, Tampa International Airport kicked off its 11th weekly flight to Cuba.
Flights from Tampa already go to two other Cuban cities as well which mean serious money coming to the Bay area. Since it started up flights to Cuba about two years ago, the airport says it's made $1.4 million in income for the airport.
It expects to make that same amount of cash every year from Cuban flights.
